Broccoli, a vegetable which belongs to the cabbage family offers numerous health benefits for babies, some of which include supply of essential vitamins and minerals, strengthening the immune system, good for eyesight, cures anemia, remedy for gastric ulcer, good source of antioxidants, cures diarrhea and acts as a natural laxative.
Although, broccoli offers several health benefits, still there are few issues with broccoli. These are minor issues, but nevertheless they shouldn’t be ignored. One is broccoli is known to cause flatulence and it can be difficult to digest, if your baby is below 8 months of age.
