Apart from these, oats have the least allergic reactions in babies compared to other cereal and staples.
Homemade Apple Porridge Baby Food
Introduce this quick, delicious and easy to digest food in your baby’s diet and enjoy the smile of good health on her face.
Age: 6months – 8 months
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons quick cooking rolled oats
½ cup milk
1 tablespoon jaggery (gur), grated ( optional)
¼ apple, peeled and finally chopped
1 teaspoon butter
Method:
Step 1: Heat the butter in a pressure cooker and sauté the oats for 2 minutes
Step 2: Add the milk and ½ cup of water and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
Step 3: Add the jaggery and apple pieces while the porridge is hot and mix well, using a whisk. Serve lukewarm.
