  • 1 apple, peeled and chopped
  • 1 riped pear, peeled and chopped
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 2 cups filtered water

 Method:

Step 1: Add water and pinch of cinnamon to the chopped apple and pear
Step 2: Pressure cook till it is completely cooked and soft (approximately 6-8minutes)
Step 3: Mash the mixture
Step 4: Strain through a wire-meshed sieve to get a clear soup
Step 5: Adding a vanilla pod gives the fruit a lovely flavor but without this, it is still a delicious baby food recipe

 Precaution: Doctors globally recommend pear for weaning babies as it is a hypoallergenic and a low acid fruit that is unlikely to cause digestion problems.
